*I’m posting every day in February as part of my determination to #makefebfun. For more info, read this post.*
I never want to take days for granted, even in my least favorite month of February. Here are just a few of the things I’m looking forward to this month:
A Book Release: In Other Words by Jhumpa Lahiri (Release Date February 9th) is a non-fiction work by the author of The Namesake, Unaccustomed Earth, and Interpreter of Maladies about her move to Rome to immerse herself in the Italian language. I plan to be first on the library hold list for this one.
My Zombie Valentine: Nothin’ says lovin’ like The Walking Dead!
My husband Dave and I are looking forward to the premiere of the second half of season six on February 14th. Although to be honest, I was a little bored by the first half of this season. Not enough action, too many weird side stories. (Nothing beats season 2 on the farm with Hershel and the crew.) Regardless, I’m ready to find out what’s going on with the citizens of Alexandria.
All Eyes on New Hampshire: Speaking of citizens … even though primary season is excruciating, I can’t look away. I’m looking forward to doing my civic duty on Tuesday February 9th and watching the primary unfold. I found this Candidate Tracker which details the candidates’ stops over the next few days, some of which are happening in my town.
